My new bestest freind in Vava'u

My new Best Friend

At last, I have found someone the same size as me!! I don’t have to jump up to say hello and the best thing is that he drops his food and I get to eat it!! Tor, my new friend loves dogs and speaks the same language as me, mainly gibberish but people seem to know what we want.

They all went out swimming with the whales yesterday and spent a lot of time in the water with a mum and her calf. We spent the night out on the islands and I got to go to the beach and dig up crabs.

Sorry to say Tor, Ken & Ulrika and his sister Ronja are going home to Fiji today but I hope that we will see them again soon.

Saw some whales yesterday out sailing.

These hump back whales are amazing!!! The babies weigh TWO TONS when they are born. (I weighed about two ounces!!)

Every day when we go out we see the gentle giants.All the humans go "oooooh aaaaah" when they see them. The whales seem to be having fun and the mums and their calves just hang around and play. We  have lots of people on the boat some days and they have a great time as well, especially after they drink those 'Painkiller' drinks.

A little bit about me and where I live.

My name is BITS (like TIBS only different) I am a Shichon, Dad was a Bichon and Mum a Shitzu, I have fur which never falls out and people are not allergic to me. That's good 'coz I love everyone!
My new mum & dad have brought me to Vava'u in Tonga from Australia and I really love it here; it's warm, the water is clear so I can go swimming whenever I want and the beaches and Islands are just about deserted so I can run around like a looney!

The beach in the photo is one of my favourites, there's crabs to play with, coconuts to attack and all sorts while dad is doing the BBQ.
It's getting late now and my paws are getting tired so I had better stop for a snooze but I will write again soon....promise BITS
